First Meeting of 2015-16

We had our first meeting tonight. The girls seemed to have a good time. We went over the changes for this year - the biggest one being that the girls are going to have more responsibility. They each recieved a bag that looks something like this:

This is a craft that I thought the girls would have a good time completing and will help them all become organized and independent. The backpack will hold all of their stuff (meeting binders, crafts, bottle of water, etc.) so nothing gets lost in transit. The girls will customize these themselves using fabric markers. They will need to keep their books and uniforms in their bag and bring them to every meeting.

They will also need to check their folders at the end of every meeting. Any papers that they need to take home will be in their folders. Please make sure you check with them so you know what is going on with our troop.
